　　What is the purpose of study, most students will tell you that they want to find their own value and survive in the society. Reading books will also help people gain knowledge and fulfill their value, but in my opinion, the value of reading books not only contains what has mentioned above, but also contains the happiness from the mind. When people read the good books, they will be immerged into the books and find themselves being part of the story. They can gain a lot from the books, learning how to face the problems or what kind of person they should be. Good books are like the teachers, they show people how to fulfill their value and lead people to the success. People should choose the good books to read, those books which are worthless should be neglected. The value of books is infinite.

　　學習的目的是什么，大部分學生會告訴你他們想要找到自己的價值，在這社會上生存。讀書也能幫助人們收獲知識和實現(xiàn)他們的價值，但是在我看來，讀書的價值不僅僅包含了前面提到的，也包含了收獲思想上的愉悅。當人們讀到好書時，他們會沉浸在書中，發(fā)現(xiàn)自己成為書中的一部分。他們也能從書本學到很多，學著如何面對問題，或者他們應該成為怎樣的人。好的`書就像老師，展示人們如何實現(xiàn)他們的價值，引導人們走向成功。人們選擇好的書來讀，那些沒有價值的書盡量少讀。書本的價值是無窮的。

　　Chi-Chi is the most diligent student in our class. He is one of my friends. As a matter of fact, he gets along with everyone very well. He never spends time fooling around with his classmates. He might spend just five to ten minutes talking to you once in a long while, but he talks with enthusiasm and energy, and he likes to share his thinking and ideas with you. He is honest; he does not like to waste his time and energy in pretending. He never appears sleepy and tired in the classroom. He always hands in homework on time and also does well in his examinations, yet he has time practicing skiing and his rifle skill outdoors. I admire him. I hope I can be as diligent as he is; Chi-Chi is persistent, attentive, and energetic

　　I feel it a great honor to have a chance to give a speech here,talking about the haze weather, which causes lots of bad effects on our healthand life. We breathe polluted air, making us suffer from lungand liver diseases. Besides, because of it, the flights have to be canceled. Allkind of transports may run into each other, resulting in much damages and lotsof injuries.

　　我很榮幸能有機會在這里做演講，和大家談談這給我們健康和生活帶來不好影響的灰霾天氣。我們呼吸這被污染過的空氣，讓我們遭受肺、肝疾病。另外，由于這天氣，航班被迫取消。各種交通工具相撞在一起，造成很大的毀滅和傷害。

　　Asfar as I am concerned, it is high time that we did something. As individuals,we should ride the underground or buses instead of cars to reduce carbondioxide. As government, more measures should be taken by carrying out therelated law on pollution.

　　我覺得是時候我們該做些什么了。我們應該乘坐地鐵或公共汽車而不是汽車來減少二氧化碳。政府應該實施針對污染的相關法律的`。
