日記是把自己在當天生活中經(jīng)歷的有意義的事以及見聞感受記錄下來的書面形式。文體自由，不拘一格。通常用第一人稱記寫。

　　英語日記的格式與漢語相同。在正文上方自左起頂格寫上日期、星期幾和天氣情況。正文另起一行，內(nèi)容應(yīng)有所選擇，記有意義、感受最深的事，切忌流水賬。有話則長，無話則短，甚至三言兩語亦可。通常采用一般過去時或可靈活運用。日記的寫作格式如下：

　　月份除May, June, July外，其余可用縮寫形式。常用來表示天氣的詞有Fine, Cloudy, Rainy, Windy, Snow等。

　　【日記要點與技巧】

　　1)注意日記的格式。應(yīng)用第一人稱來寫。

　　2)多數(shù)句子為過去時，因為事情發(fā)生在過去。

　　3)日記必須根據(jù)所給的兩個提示和十個詞語來寫。

　　4)語言要通順、簡練，表達要清楚、準確。

　　A Happy Day

　　Oct 3, 2013, Sunday Rainy

　　Last Sunday, I visited my grandmother. We listened to music and planted flowers. I counted the flowers. There were ten.. Then I helped my grandmother cook lunch. When we finished, I washed the dishes and she cleaned the kitchen. In the evening, I watched TV and played the violin at home, It was fun.
